OF the most popular cuisines in the world, nothing is as well loved as Italian food. Its use of fresh ingredients, the simple cooking techniques, and natural flavors make it one of the healthiest.
It wasn’t surprising that the dinner hosted by Italian Ambassador Massimo Roscigno was one of the well-attended events in Smart Infinity’s Culinary Journey series.

Roscigno, his wife Agnes and their daughter Ursula opened the doors of their well-appointed home to Manila’s crème de la crème. And who would want to miss a chance to sample delicious Italian cooking when it is especially prepared by L’Opera Ristorante? The entire dinner, from appetizer to dessert, was especially designed by restaurant owner and Chef Paolo Nesi. In fact, he even created a decadent dessert of chocolate and amaretto flan with fresh cream and named it Il Dolce di Ursula.

To entertain the guests, classical singer Jack Salud serenaded guests with his rendition of Italian canzone.
Guests who enjoyed the evening included Marco Polo Hotels Philippines Area General Manager Hans Hauri and GT Capital Holdings Inc. Vice Chairman Alfred Ty, to name a few. During the dinner, Smart Infinity Head of Infinity Business Group Julie Carceller, together with Marketing Manager James Chi shared with guests the telecommunications company dedicated Infinity relationship officer to oversee one’s account. It also has a Smart Infinity Worldwide Concierge to handle travel bookings and reservations, among others.

It was a truly remarkable and unforgettable evening with special thanks to the Roscigno family for graciously welcoming all of us into their lovely home.
