PHILIPPINE resort operators consider South Korea as one of their biggest markets.
This isn’t surprising considering that South Koreans ranked high among tourist arrivals in the country in the past years. That’s why a number of resorts fly their sales and marketing teams to Seoul to promote the Philippines as an ideal travel destination.

Henann Group of Resorts, headed by chairman Dr. Henry Chusuey, operates the largest resort group in Boracay. It is expanding its clientele list in the foreign tourism scene with its participation in several international travel affairs. Its untiring marketing and sales teams, led by Vice President for Marketing Karl Chusuey and Assistant Vice President for Sales-Boracay Area Isabel Garcia, took part recently in travel shows held in key cities in South Korea.
The Henann Group of Resorts includes Boracay Regency Beach Resort, one of Boracay’s top-notch and renowned resorts, Henann Garden Resort and Henann Lagoon Resort.
On the other hand, Plantation Bay Resort and Spa’s hardworking marketing team revisited Busan and Seoul to host an appreciation party for its media and travel agency partners and friends from the industry. It has joined sales missions abroad, as well as conducting road shows to promote the resort, and the Philippines as a whole, as a prime tourist destination.
The delegation was led by Plantation Bay Vice President for Marketing Efren Belarmino, who was accompanied by Sales Director Jid Velasco and the resort’s staff of dancers.
